CalligraPhilly is a fine art calligraphy, engraving, and design studio, established by Emily Reichlin in 2017.
An initially self-taught calligrapher, she has studied under Suzanne Cunningham for traditional copperplate script
and Carla Hagan for glass engraving. 

Her work has been published in Modern Luxury Weddings Philadelphia and Dream Weddings Magazine, and featured on websites
Carats and Cake and Munaluchi Bride.

In collaboration with US Women's Chess Champion Jennifer Shahade and filmmaker Daniel Meirom,

"Not Particularly Beautiful", a large-scale social commentary chessboard art piece debuted

in the Boston Sculptors Gallery in 2018.

 

The second iteration of the piece was featured in the group show A Beautiful Game at 

the World Chess Hall of Fame in St. Louis in 2019 and remains in their permanent collection.
